Nancy is originally from Atlanta, Ga.  She now lives in Arlington Heights, IL. with her husband, William “ Blue” Knott. In 1987, She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Animal Science specializing in Equine Science.  She has dedicated her life to her passion for horses.  After graduating, she worked at the major thoroughbred racetracks in the country as an exercise rider, assistant trainer, trainer, and jockey.  In 1999, She became certified in Equine Sports Massage.  She is also a certified Equine/Canine Acupressure Practitioner. 

   While recuperating from a riding accident in 2003, Nancy started learning photography.  She has been around art her entire life.  Her Grandmother was a photographer.  Her Father an art collector.  Jill, her oldest sister, is an artist in the South of France.  Lee, her next sister, is a photojournalist in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Helen, her third sister, is a writer  in the South of France.  They have all had a great influence on her.  Now along with massaging the horses at the track, she also enjoys photographing the horses and other special events.
